This line of powerful DC actuators was developed for the medical sector but can also be found in many different furniture and industrial applications.

KOM - Control Units

The line of Matrix actuators is complimented by the KOM control units, which allow a flexible and more application focused system control. KOM control units are ideal to handle low-voltage control for simple tasks or microprocessor technology for complex control solutions.

Applications

Matrix actuators have been successfully integrated in applications such as hospital beds, therapy couches, patient lifters etc. where product and single fault safety are important requirements. Due to its robust and reliable design, Matrix represents the perfect solution for many complex industrial applications.
 

How does it work?

The Matrix linear drives are equipped with an electric motor, worm gearing and a lead screw unit. The rotary movement of the motor is converted with the help of the worm gear into an axial movement. The rotation of the lead screw is transferred to a thrust tube with integrated special nut. The Matrix linear drives are characterized by very quiet running and are maintenance free. They take up little space and can be installed at virtually every angle and in vertical or horizontal position. They are technically less complicated and guarantee greater operational safety than pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders.
