ILD            ILD Intelligent Linear Drive The concept of the compact ILD actuator consists of a linear drive with an electrically communicated and regulated motor to achieve a linear motion for forces up to 20KN, up to 100 mm/sec., up to 1.000 mm stroke length for use in machines and systems. Motor, gear and control-logic are integrated in a rigid aluminium housing. In addition the drive unit and all the sensors and position switches are well protected from external influences by an aluminium cover. Sensors detect every motion of the motor. With this feedback, a powerfull microcontroller controls the rotating field of the 3-phase motor and allows the control of position, speed and direction of drive. The integration of electric and linear drive in a single compact unit using a powerfull microcontroller, allows for a great number of additional functions. The operation of the ILD with all options (speed, positioning, ramp start/stop, timing, etc.) can be programmed on the ILD unit itself or through a system interface (e.g. CAN, Interbus-S, Profibus) for external control. ILD linear actuators are especially suitable for industrial application with heavy load, medical application.
